Marriages

Marriage is viewed as a sacrament, a holy and sacred covenant between two persons. It is a reflection of God's love for His people and is regarded as a divine institution. Weddings are conducted within the framework of this sacramental understanding, emphasising the spiritual significance of the union.

The minister officiates the service, leads the couple in their vows, and invokes God's blessings upon the marriage. The clergy's presence underscores the solemnity and spiritual dimension of the event. The couple makes solemn vows to love, honour, and cherish each other for better or worse, in sickness and in health, until death do they part. These vows are a declaration of their commitment and signify the unbreakable bond they are forming. After the vows and the exchange of rings, the priest offers a blessing for the couple's marriage. This blessing invokes God's grace and guidance on their journey together.

Speak with the minister to discuss premarital counselling, wedding scheduling and fees.
